Profile

A little more about me.

I’m a London-based writer, editor, and fashion enthusiast covering style, culture, and social justice issues for publications such as Vogue, British Vogue, WSJ. Magazine, Glamour UK, PORTER, and Elle. I was also the interim features director for the final print editions of Vogue Arabia published by Nervora in late 2024, co-author of a monthly newsletter titled Medium Rare and author of the Refinery29 series Demystified. I am currently on book leave working on my debut novel.

In addition to my reporting, I am a guest lecturer and have been invited to speak on panels and in classrooms at Northeastern University, NYU Abu Dhabi, American University, and London College of Fashion, among other institutions.

Prior to going full-time freelance, I was the editorial manager for the print mailers at Barneys New York and editor-in-chief of a magazine at the French startup Wheretoget. I have been featured on NYU’s Spotlight on Undergraduate Alumni, Our Paris StoriesWomen Making Waves, and Bastet Noir and was named a finalist in the 2019 RNA Awards for Religion Reporting Excellence for my coverage of women in the world of Islam in Teen Vogue.
