Amanda is a lifestyle and fashion editor at the Style Collective for E!

Her previous  work has appeared online and in print for publications including Elle, Teen Vogue, Sorbet, Refinery29, The Huffington Post, Seventeen, and others. Amanda reported from Paris, where she completed her masters with Middlebury College at the Sorbonne. Amanda was the former editor-in-chief of NYU’s daily newspaper, the Washington Square News, from 2012-2013 before relocating to Abu Dhabi where she cofounded The Gazelle, the first student newspaper at NYU’s satellite campus. In creating this publication at NYUAD, Amanda and her team went entirely digital with their publication, empowering students to have an independent and online voice in their community.

Amanda also served as editor-in-chief of a magazine at a fashion startup in Paris. She was responsible for overseeing content and managing the editorial team at Wheretoget, a shoppable inspiration platform for fashion-oriented readers. Stories ranged from selecting items out of the latest collections of user-favorite retailers like Zara to dispelling myths about French women and their body hair.

Amanda’s passion for the power of communication has previously landed her a job appointed by the French Ministry of Education working with schools and developing language programs in French Guiana. The topic of her subsequent thesis was “The French Identity in Its Overseas Departments in Relation To Education.” Her work in France has been featured on the Spotlight on Undergraduate Alumni page on the NYU Department of French’s website and on Our Paris Stories, a website for expats.
