Amanda Randone is a London-based writer, editor, and language and culture consultant. She is a regular contributor to Refinery29, British Vogue, and Teen Vogue—among other publications—and the founder of Amanda Randone Creative Services. Her bimonthly Refinery29 style series, Demystified, explores the cross-cultural significance of popular symbols and motifs.
Amanda’s work has appeared online and in print for Vogue Arabia, Elle, Sorbet, Cosmopolitan, Coveteur, Seventeen, Bustle, and more. She was formerly the editorial and social manager at Barneys New York where she was responsible for managing all aspects of the editorial process for The Window seasonal women’s and men’s books. Amanda has also served as editor-in-chief of a magazine at a fashion startup in Paris where she oversaw content and managed the editorial team at Wheretoget, a shoppable inspiration platform for fashion-oriented readers. She is the cofounder of The Gazelle, the first student newspaper at NYU’s satellite campus.
During her time living and working in Paris, Amanda was featured on the Spotlight on Undergraduate Alumni page on the NYU Department of French’s website, on Our Paris Stories, a website for expats, and on Women Making Waves, an online community for women.
